5 Homemade DIY Toners For Every Skin Type

Hi Everyone! Today I am going to tell you ways by which you can make your homemade DIY toners. If you are confused which toner is good to buy from market or if you are a lover of natural organic products and you don’t trust these chemically made toners present in the market then you can make your own toner at home.

Toners are an essential part of skincare routine which many of us ignores. After washing your face if any residue of makeup, dirt or pollution is left toner cleanses it properly. It also maintains the pH level of the skin and hydrates the skin really well. Toners also absorbs extra oil, removes dead skin and minimize the size of the pores.

These are some homemade DIY toners for every skin type:-

1. Rose Water Toner

Rose water controls excess oil, has anti-inflammatory properties, helps hydrate, revitalize and moisturize the skin. It also helps to strengthen skill cells and regenerate skin tissues.

You can directly apply rose water after cleaning your face as rose water alone also works as a toner.

Another method to make an effective toner for your skin is by taking 3tbsp of rose water and adding 1 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel to it and 3-4 drops of lemon essential oil (if you don’t have lemon essential oil then you can take 1tbsp of lemon juice). Mix it well and store in an air tight container. Take in a cotton pad or cotton ball and apply it all over your face.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar Toner

Apple Cider Vinegar is a magical ingredient for your skin. Its toner is best for people with acne prone and oily skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar kills bacteria, removes excess dirt, oil and makeup, dissolve dead skin cells, removes dard spots and reduce aging effects.

Take 2tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar in 1 cup of water. Mix it well and store in an air tight container. Take in a cotton pad or cotton ball and apply it all over your face.

3. Green Tea Toner

Green tea has anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces lines, wrinkles, sunburn and rashes. It rejuvinates and exfoliates the skin and treats acne prone and oily skin.

In a small pan boil 1 cup water. Then take the pan away from the heat and add 1 tbsp of green teaor 1 green tea bag. Let it settle down for 15 minutes. Remove the tea bag. Now put this mixture in an air tight container and refrigerate it. Whenever you want to apply just take in a cotton pad or cotton ball and apply it all over your face.

4. Rice Water Toner

Rice water is the Asian home remedy for smooth and radiant skin. It promotes cell growth, lightens skin tone and reduce signs of ageing giving a youthful and glowing skin.

Take 1 cup of rice and wash it well. Now add 1 cup of water to it and leave it for 1-2 hours. Now strain this water in an air tight container and your rice water toner is ready. Take in a cotton pad or cotton ball and apply it all over your face.

5. Neem Toner

Neem is a magical herb for treating many problems and has amazing benefits for skin as well. It heal scars, fights acne, treats pigmentation, controls oil and gives a clear and glowing skin.

Take 2 cup of water in a pan. Now add one handful of neem leaves to it and bring to boil for about 7-8 minutes. Now let it cool for 15 minutes then strain it in a air tight container. Refrigerate for one week. Whenever you want to apply just take in a cotton pad or cotton ball and apply it all over your face.

You can add any essential oil of your choice to any of these toners if you don’t like the smell. Apply them daily after cleaning and before moisturizing for better results.
